  • 1Quality by Design Prelock Sizing and Configuration
    Maximizes the prelock positioning and minimizes premature separation during shipping and storage while maximizing filling machine separation performance.
  • 2Computer Engineered Dome Radius
    Directs the force of closing along the side wall of the shell to minimize denting or dimpling during capsule filling.
  • 3Quality by Design Air Venting
    Maximizes the efficiency of air escape to provide a uniform closed capsule length, a critical feature during post filling packaging.
  • 4Double Lock and Zone of Constant Diameter
    Ensures correct engagement of the cap and body ring lock. (i.e. less force on closing and more force to separate)
  • 5The EMBO Feature
    • Increases the mechanical hoop strength of the cap to prevent ovalation.
    • Prevents capsule movement from prelock position to lock position during shipping.
    • Minimizes "pop back" or the slight unlocking of the cap upon high speed closing, a critical feature especially when filling liquids.
